Bio


Xiaoyu Liu currently lives and works in the U.S. She earned her MFA in Design & Technology, Parsons School of Design (M2019). As an interdisciplinary artist and interaction designer, she explores time and sensory perception and the notion of death through the media of art installation, performance, documentation, sound and videos. Her sensitivity to the environment has been a major influence on her work. She has worked for Google at Huge and Dotdash Meredith. Her work has been exhibited at Center for the Visual Arts, The Research House for Asian Art, Independent & Image, NYC Media Lab, Maker Faire, Parsons, and published in USA Art News, Ritzherald, Hudson Weekly, Madison graph, Fairmont Post.
